Time for Relay for Life!
Sign up now for our American Cancer Society Relay for Life on Friday, May 29! Help fight cancer and have a heap of fun at the same time! Celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer. The strength of survivors inspires others to continue their fight. Remember loved ones lost to the disease. At Relay, those who have walked alongside people battling cancer can grieve and find healing. Fight back. We Relay because we have been touched by cancer and desperately want to put an end to the disease. Make a commitment to save lives by taking up the fight.
Events from 5-11 p.m. on May 29 include: Frozen T-shirt contest, Giant Jenga, Zumba, relay races, a cupcake eating contest and more!

Engaging our elected officials
The School Board and some of our district's leaders met with our three state legislators this month to provide our input into the state's biennial budget. We met with Sen. Alberta Darling, Rep. Dan Knodl and incoming Rep. Janel Brandtjen. See our letter to our legislators here.

2014-15 enrollment update
Summer school on the rise
Last summer, we saw another increase for record enrollment in our popular summer school program. From enrichment classes to credit recovery, learning continues all year long for many students, Director of Curriculum and Learning Dr. Gary Kiltz told the School Board this week.
